be advised that it is important to have updated backups of your keys.
During the years a few bugs have been found in the PGP software - just
as in any software - and it is possible that you encounter irreversible
problems if you're testing a lot of old versions and move your keyring
files between different installations. Just make sure you always have backups (securely located) of your keys. The best way is to simply have a version of your keys in ascii format that you import using the present version's import/add tool/procedure. |

For Windows OSes you could run Innotek Virtualbox or VMWARE Server, which are both free and perform very well. Both versions support a great variety of host and guest systems. Virtualbox may have the lead in many aspects whereas VMWARE are probably more widely used.
